Samantha J. “Sam” Burdick, 33, Luxemburg, unexpectedly went to be in the arms of the Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022. She was born in Green Bay on July 15, 1988, to Todd and Brenda (Zehren) Burdick. Sam was a 2007 graduate of Luxemburg-Casco High School. Following graduation, she became certified as a day care teacher and obtained her CNA license. Sam spent time working at various local daycare centers and assisted living facilities until her health would not allow her to continue. She volunteered when she could at the Green Bay Reforestation Camp. Sam loved children and animals, especially: Ollie, Kessler, Stormy, Bella, Ruby, Walker and Lulu. Sam grew up at the family business, Burdick’s Bar and Grill in Luxemburg. She loved meeting new people and never hesitated to initiate conversation. She met many people over the years that she considered family. Sam met her soulmate, Randy Fish, in September of 2020. They made countless memories and had plans for so many more. Survivors include her parents, Todd and Brenda Burdick; one brother, Luke (Devan) Burdick; her soulmate, Randy Fish; Randy’s parents, Mary and Keith Schwarzer; Randy’s brother, R.J. Fish; paternal grandmother, Pat Burdick; maternal grandmother, Jan Zehren; Aunts, uncles and cousins: her Godmother Tina (Ron) Alsteen and their family: Matt (Amanda) & family, Megan (Cody), Jodi & family, Chad & family, Nick (Jane) & family, Bill (Mary) & family, Katie (Chris) & family; Lindy (Frank) Dorn and their family: Christopher, Tyler (Chelsea) & family; Scott (Brenda) Zehren and their family: Eric (Kara) & family, Adam (Marissa) & family, Miranda (Daykota) & family, Abi (Logan); her Godfather Kelly (Kathy) Zehren and their family: Miranda, Rachael (Aaron), Kyler (Tarynn), Kraig (Nikki) & family, Mariah (Zach); and a very special Great Aunt, Barb Miller. She is further survived by her extended family, Jeanette and Robert DuBois; Teri Moreau; Katie & Adam Crosby and Kaden; the R & D family; and numerous additional friends and their families. She was welcomed into Heaven by her best friend, Emily DuBois; her special friend, Aja Delcore; paternal grandfather, Len Burdick; maternal grandfather, Ron Zehren; and her K-9 buddies, Harley and Hunter. Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, 700 Heritage Road, Luxemburg, Wi. 54217, between 2:00 and 6:45 pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Funeral Service 7:00 pm on Sunday at the church with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Sam's Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
