Sherry A. Cravillion

Sherry A. (Lemens) Cravillion, 85, of New Franken passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 9, 2024, with family by her side. She was born in Green Bay on September 4, 1938, to the late Andrew and Thisla “Tee” (Servais) Lemens. She was a 1957 graduate of St. Joseph Academy. On September 14, 1957, Sherry married James “Jim” C. Cravillion at Annunciation Catholic Church, Green Bay. With a bond of enduring love and commitment, they raised their family at their cherished home in Champion. He preceded her in death, October 29, 2021. Sherry devoted herself primarily as a homemaker, tending to her children Lisa and Randy, her grandchildren Cody, Tyler, and Nicolas, and later, to her seven great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and baking with her husband Jim and worked in many supper club kitchens, to include: Palm Gardens, Trapper’s Cove, and Ledgeview. She loved spending time with family, traveling with Jim, reading, and volunteering at the church. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord and nurturing all those around her. Sherry's presence enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be especially remembered for her love, generosity, and her incredible ability to make beautiful birthday and wedding cakes. Survivors include her two children, Lisa Cravillion, Randy (fiancé, Terri) Cravillion, Luxemburg; three grandchildren, Cody (Mindy) Cravillion, Tyler (friend, Amanda) Cravillion, Nicolas (Caitlin) Cravillion; seven great-grandchildren, Calvin, Easton, Colin, Chase, Lainey, Aubrey and Ethan; sister Sue Nelis; five sisters in law, Jackie Lemens, Janet Zehren, Sharon (Wayne) McCosky-Raether, Lila (Bryan) Ellerbrock, and Linda (Jerry) Zellner; nieces and nephews. Sherry was preceded in death by, her husband Jim Cravillion, her parents Andrew Lemens and Tee Lemens-Kellner; her stepfather Gordy Kellner; her brother John Lemens; three brothers in law, Bruce McCosky, Ron Zehren, and Ron Nelis; and nephew Michael Nelis. Friends may call at St. Joseph Church, Champion between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Friday, April 26, 2024. Funeral 11:00 am on Friday at the church with Rev. Carlo Villaluz officiating.
