Tessa B. Gilley, 12, Pilsen, passed away peacefully in the presence of her earthly father and mother, entering into the arms of her Heavenly Father, on Monday evening, March 2, 2020. She was born in Green Bay on April 13, 2007 to Kristopher M. and Anne M. (Mleziva) Gilley. Tessa was a sixth-grade student at St. Mary Catholic School, Luxemburg, where she enjoyed spending her time with her classmates. Additional enjoyments included swimming, gymnastics, slumber parties, elephants, shopping, getting her nails done, harassing her older brother Eli and a great bowl of mac and cheese! She marched to her own beat, a spunky girl with an infectious smile, never giving up, strong with a huge desire to fight this challenge, facing it head on. Her strength was an inspiration to many. Survivors include her parents, Kris and Anne Gilley, Pilsen; one brother, Eli; her paternal grandparents, Mike (Wendy) Gilley, Bonnie Gilley, all of Green Bay; her maternal grandparents, Roger Mleziva, Pilsen; uncles and aunts, Kitt (Greg) Cleereman, Pound; Karen Parish, Pilsen; Mike Mleziva, Denmark; Paul (Lona) Mleziva, Pilsen; Kathy Noll (her godmother), Howard; Pete (Sadie) Mleziva, Pilsen; cousins, Dominic, Shaefer, Maddi, Ethan, Braden, Emily and Elsie; her godfather, Jeremy Noll; numerous classmates, friends and extended family. Tessa was preceded in death by her grandmother, Helen Mleziva; her paternal and maternal great grandparents. Closing community prayer service at 6:30 pm on Tuesday. Visitation will continue between 8:30 am and 10:45 am on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at St. Mary Church, 1412 Main Street, Luxemburg, Wi. 54217.
