Thomas C. Kunesh, 75 of Pilsen, died suddenly at his home, Sunday, May 13, 2018. He was born in Kewaunee on October 27, 1942 to the late John G. and Magdalen C. (Dorner) Kunesh. On December 26, 1964 Tom married Mary E. Otradovec in Kewaunee. They were married for over 52 years before she preceded him in death on November 04, 2017. He served in the United States Army Reserves for six years. Tom farmed and roofed in the area for over fifty years. He was a member of the American Legion Carlton Post 538, and a member of St. Therese Parish, St. Joseph – St. John Site in Pilsen. His enjoyments included fishing, bowling and history of any sorts. Survivors include his son, James (Dawn) Kunesh, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Mandi Kunesh; Jonathen Kunesh; two great grandchildren, Bodhi and Lennon; two sisters, Beverly Johnson, Green Bay; Kathy (Don) Fronk, Pilsen; two brothers in law and one sister in law, Franklin and Gertrude Otradovec, Kewaunee; James Hoffman, Green Bay; nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his wife Mary; his parents, John and Magdalen Kunesh; one brother in law, Dale Johnson; one sister in law, Janet Hoffman; his father in law and mother in law, Leo and Martha Otradovec. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Closing parish prayer service at 7:00 pm with Christal Wavrunek, Pastoral Minister. Visitation will continue between 10:00 and 10:45 am on Friday May 18, 2018 at St. Therese Parish, St. Joseph -St. John Site in Pilsen. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Dennis Drury officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pilsen with full military rites at graveside provided by the American Legion Carlton Post 538.
