Justin Lee Delain, 41, Luxemburg, died tragically in a fire on Monday, January 23, 2023, after a wonderful weekend spent with his three loving children. Justin was born in Green Bay, WI on May 24, 1981, to Christopher and Lori (Jennings) Delain. He worked in sales and construction throughout his career, owned and operated several businesses, and had a passion for woodworking. He had countless close friends and family members who loved how much he lit up every room. Justin enjoyed silly antics and endless shenanigans and loved to make people laugh with his infectious positivity. He relished the outdoors, going Up North to the cabin, playing cards, tinkering, making his famous grilled potato packs, sporting events, and above all, his children. Justin’s kids were his greatest accomplishment, and his pride for them and their achievements was never ending. His love was shared through coaching baseball, snuggling with his babies, and playing yard games. He had an incredible zest for life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Justin is survived by his father Christopher Delain (Tammy Baudhuin) and mother Lori Delain (Paul Monka), his sisters Shannon Mueller (Rick) and Brittany Minger (Travis), his children Cashton (12), Kase (10), Calla (7), and their mother Liz Delain (Jeremy Engum), his nieces and nephews Brayden (17), Elliana (15), Kenley (9), Mila (7), Matthew (6), Evelyn (2), and Monroe (6mo). He is preceded in death by his uncle Dale Breitlow, cousin Ben Delain, maternal grandmother (Phyllis Bartz), paternal grandparents (Betty and Vince Delain), and his angel baby who passed on the same day, eight years prior. Some of the children’s favorite memories include exploring the great outdoors, building forts, fishing, Boy Scouts outings, making barnwood crafts, playing ball, and becoming the Pilsen Pirates. Justin, we hope you are enjoying all the plain vanilla cheesecake and endless Mountain Dew that Heaven can provide. Friends and family may call at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Sugarbush, 2:30 to 6:30 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Closing parish memorial service at 6:30 pm. McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, is assisting the Delain Family. www.mcmahonfh.com In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Justin’s children at Nicolet National Bank: The Justin Delain Children Memorial. “Daddy, I know you’ll be watching over us from above. We love you and will miss you forever and always. Fly high Daddy!” Love, Cashman, Kase Vince, and Callacoo.
